Then i learned that if you have a certain type of grass called "RED GRASS" it is a sign of good soil and that different types of grass grow in different types of soil... Site guide....
On my first few days of site guide i already learned so much on mammals and how to identify them and i also learned that without people skills you will not be able to be a good guide... Learning how to do game drives might seem easy to someone but once u do it yourself you realize that its not just about knowing the animals its about knowing how they work why they do the things they do.. and whats fun about being a guide you get to tell the guests a story about the animals even if it is made up its just to make them laugh after all its just a story

Harvesting and combating of fauna and flora
In resource guardianship we learn how to harvest fauna and flora like for instance how to harvest problem animals like insects and other animals that is over populated or a threat to others and harvesting problem plants like sekelbos that can rather be used for firewood then it covers taking out a problem plant and harvesting firewood. And also as well as slaughtering of animals that died so that the meat can be harvested and used for food for the animals and then combating the water weeds that was in the dam also covers harvesting because it only is good for nothing but removing it makes the scenery better and the water more healthy for the animals

Erect and maintain wildlife fences
In recourse guardianship we have the main duty to erect and maintain the wildlife fences of the farm so when a fence is dismantled or completely damaged we know how to remove and replace or fix the fence. In recourse guardianship we learn about the different fences used like bonox fence or the normal bush veld fences and how to fix them like for instance how to do a 90-degree hook or a circle hook or the easiest using a grippler and gripples to join two wires and we learnd how to use the wire tensioner to pull the wire so that the two ends can be put together to complete the fence again. And we also learned how to plant "stut-pale" and painted the old ones so they could have a longer life line we also learned why it is important to clear the wires of any unwanted trees and bushes so that the fence has a longer life line.

Tings i learn in Resource Guardianship
In Resource Guardianship I learned that it is one of the most important pat of conservation because it is stretched over big parts of conservation. Resource Guardianship is mostly about maintaining the resources of a farm like maintaining the wildlife fences and fixing them when they need fixing and monitoring local wildlife and harvesting of fauna and flora. Our main priority's are basically to conserve the resources and make sure that it has a longer lifeline. I also learn about how to combat different types of problem plants and animals and what these problem plants and animals can also be used to our advantage, that is just the basics of Resource Guardianship i also learn about how to prevent and fight fires when necessary and how to do first aid.
